Once on the
“download” web page (diagram 1.a) click on the appropriate link to begin
downloading.
Most
browsers will then ask you where you would like to save the file to.
You can
choose any directory you like EXCEPT the c:\1stclass directory but DO take
note of where you are saving it to.
After the download is complete you should run the file you
have just downloaded. To run the file,
click on the start button on the bottom left hand corner of the windows
screen. Choose “Run”. Then select the file you just named from the
list of file names already on your computer.
Once your file name is in the file name box, click on run to start the
program. (After successfully installing
the gradebook, you may copy the software on to two floppy diskettes. Do not try to copy onto one diskette because
the file is too large - see page 39). You should now see a screen that allows you the
option of choosing SETUP.
