1.7      Press TAB to move to the ‘Raw Total Points’ column.  Enter the number of the possible points.  Press TAB to move to the next column.

1.8      Press TAB to move to the ‘Point Value’ column.  Enter the weight of value you want each point to be worth in the student’s average.  A point value of 0 would cause the activity to be removed from the student’s averages altogether.  A point value of 0.5 would mean that the activity will be assigned only half the normal weight.  For example, if a given student achieved 18/30 and you enter a point value of 0.5,  1st Class gradebook will treat this test as if it was worth only 15 points and the student had achieved 9 points (9/15).  Thus the student’s average is impacted by only half of what it normally would have been.  Press TAB to move to the next column.

1.9      To move to the ‘’Total Points’ column, press TAB.  This is the number of points adjusted based on the point value.  If you adjust the value, 1st Class GradeBook will figure out the corresponding point value and update the point value column.  Press TAB to move to the next column,

1.10   To move to the ‘Date’ column, press TAB.  1st Class GradeBook has already placed today’s date in this column.  You may change it to another date as required.  Press TAB to move to the next column
