2. Import Averages/Grades from a Previous Term
To import
final averages/grades form a previous term perform the following steps:
2.1 Choose the class you would like to import from using the “From Class”
box you can click on the arrow and a drop down box will appear. This class should have at least one student
(if not all) in common with the class labeled “To Class”.
2.2 Choose the activity you would like to Import (bring in) from the
previous term. You can choose any
activity (such as an Exam or Test). If
you choose “FINAL AVERAGE” 1st Class GradeBook will re-calculate the
student’s final average and bring it in.
2.3 Choose
“To Class”
2.4 Fill in the activity name you wish to bring the final averages/grades in
under. 1st Class GradeBook
will create an activity with this name and import the averages/grades you have
selected in step 2.2.
2.5 Enter an activity type. If this activity type does not exist 1st
Class GradeBook will create it. The
activity type you enter here will be used to house the imported average/grades
you are bringing in.
2.6 If this is a new activity type 1st Class GradeBook will need to know what weight it should carry. This weight will be ignored if this activity already exists. For more information on setting up this weight see the section entitled “Multiple Term Strategies” (page 750
