2.4 Enter the field and size the way you want your data to appear. You can also choose to click on the downward
arrow button and a drop down screen will appear and you can choose a preset
field and size.
2.5 Enter the format in which you want your data to be displayed. You can
also click on the downward arrow button and Format options will appear that you
can choose. Choose “Format Help” for an
explanation of the formats.
2.6 Choose your padd length and delimiter then choose add, this will save
the format you chose and display it in the box below.
2.7 Click on “Preview Export” to view your results.
2.8 Click on “Export to File” to save your results to a .txt file; click
“ok” then click “Done” when you are finished.
3. Importing Students
3.1 From the
main screen click on Student.
3.2 Click on
the Import Students (bottom left corner).
3.3 Enter the field and record separators. As a default, this gradebook
selects “The first field is the Class Name”. Please alter this accordingly.
3.4 Click on
Read/Preview File. This will bring you to the Import Students screen.
3.5 Select the correct drive and folders to find the file with the
information you wish to import. Highlight the file you want and then click OK
(the information you import should be saved in a text file).
3.6 In the “Students Found in Import File” box, there should be displayed
the information you wish to import from your text file. Select students and
their information that you want to import.
