  1. You have included detailed steps outlining how to reproduce the problem.  Try to include details about what you were doing just before the problem occurred.

 

  1. IMPORTANT:  Try reproducing the problem on another 1st Class database file.  New releases of 1st Class GradeBook include a “sample.1st” file.  You can use this database file to try and reproduce the problem.  If you cannot reproduce the problem on the sample database, use the “Repair/Optimize” option from the file menu to repair your database.  If this does not fix the problem, then email your 1st Class GradeBook database to support@1st-class-software.com along with a description of the problem.  Your database file is usually found in the c:\1stclass directory and ends in “.1st”.  A technical analyst will reproduce the problem, fix it and e-mail you the results.
