Q. Should i buy 3 year cover for a new lcd television? i'm buying a new tv and have decided what i want but don't know if it is worth paying for 3 years cover. i intend forking out about £1300 for the television and the cover is about £200.
No dont do it,i took out a 5 years policy and never claimed,luckily it was 1 where you get your money back if you dont claim in the 5 years.

Is it a little ridiculus to buy a 3 year old a camera? my 3 year old nephew loves taking pictures on his parents camera, i was thinking that maybe i would get him one of those kid cameras for xmas, but do you think its appropriate? i mean he can't even talk in complete sentences, could he even use it? what do you think?

Go for it! There's nothing wrong with that. If he's interested then that's what matters. He doesn't have to speak in full sentences to take a stunning photo.He might have fun taking pictures of interesting insects he sees outside. I saw a news article recently where a little boy (I think he might have also been 3, maybe 4 years old I can't remember) took a photo of a bird he saw in his backyard, and it ended up to be some rare bird! Maybe he'll be a famous photographer one day!
Q. What gift(s) should i buy for 3 year old twin girls? my son just got invited to birthday party for the twin girls in his mother's day out class. they're turning 3. should i buy one big present (around $40) or 2 smaller gifts (around $20 each)? also, if i take 2 gifts, should i buy identical presents so there's no arguing over who gets what or similar presents so they can share with each other? i know i could just ask the mom but i'm curious what everyone else thinks :) thanks in advance for your help!
i would get the same thing in different colors like a pink doll and purple doll unless one is more tom boy
Q. What to buy a 3 year old girl, a 5 year old boy, and a 9 and 11 year old girl from germany? we live in germany, and are visiting the states in may.
all of my nieces and my nephew have had birthdays within the past 3 months-except one, who will have her b-day in june, so i want to bring them presents from here, but haven´t a clue what children would like.
i don´t want to ask them or their parents-i want this to be a surprise.

Their two grandmothers travel together to Europe once a year. Here are some gifts that they love:
For your 3-year-old niece --- A Steiff bear or animal, or a puzzle made by Glückskäfer or Ravensburger. Also, the dolls from Zapf Creation are adorable, or perhaps a doll clothed in the Black Forest tradition.
For your 5 year old nephew --- A German soccer jersey (my nephew loved this), or a small Alpine weatherhouse or Black Forest cuckoo clock. The traditional German Jumping Jacks made by Hampelmann are inexpensive and easy to pack.
For the girls -- Stegmann’s wool/felt clogs embroidered with alpine flowers. You might consider a charm bracelet or necklace for your oldest niece. Also, the kids love the Bavarian alpine music boxes.
Sometimes the simplest gifts are a hit -- Small wooden nesting dolls (although they are actually Russian) or nutcrackers for the youngest children; gemstones, stamps, or coins for the 5 and 9 year olds.
By the way, they are all interested in other cultures and countries, so you really can't miss -- Have fun shopping!

Whatever you do, don't get her a bunch of pink crap. And not those Bratz dolls either. And nothing that makes noise.
And STOP with the princess crap. They are NOT princesses. They will NOT be princesses. It just gives them another excuse to be all snotty and expect to be treated like royalty. Yeah, sister, I got your royalty right here. Now take yourself to the john and wipe yourself - it won't kill you.
